About this week’s episode:

This week is all about creating an intriguing Facebook cover in Photoshop. As usual, we’ll start off by setting up our canvas size. For the banner size we’ll work on the Facebook banner dimensions. It’s important to set your resolution for web (72dpi) from the start, as facebook would automatically downscale the image quality. After opening our canvas we will drop in our image. We’ll have to zoom out a lot, as the original image would be larger because of the resolution. We’ll use the marquee tool to create circular selections and then we’ll fill them. We’ll also add our text and refine it to fit in better with the rest of the image.
